What is The Rationalist?

We tend to value our own ideas over those of others, especially if those other ideas are incongruous with our own. This bias encourages us to staunchly defend our current point of view.

Persisting our own world view over that of others tends to an irrational and emotional argument.

The Rationalist aims to promote rational thinking and will (hopefully) present big topics through a thoughtful and reasonable lens.

If I can enable a single person to change their mind on any given topic, I’ll consider this platform a success 🙏🏻

Publishing schedule

As I’m just starting out, I haven’t figured out a strict publishing schedule yet, but I would like to eventually being pushing out newsletters 2-4 times a month. I’ll keep this page updated as things evolve.

Paid subscription

I’ll make it clear up front - I would like to make money doing this 🤑 To begin with I’ll keep everything free, primarily to gauge popularity and experiment with format. Once I’m happy with how things are going and know I can create valuable content in a reasonably frequency, I will offering some of the content to paid subscribers only.
